A native of Aubaine, Buzz attended the AAF
Military Academy and Flight School before beginning his career
in the AAF. He transfered to the RCS Navy
(Aubaine System) after one full term in the Air Force.
After two full terms in the RCS Navy, and having spent a total of
twenty years in military service, Buzz has decided to seek his
fortune as an inter-system free agent. Buzz retired
from service as a Naval Lt. Commander.
Walden's TacNet ID predates his RC Service - as a
young helicopter pilot in the AAF, he routinely flew as low and
fast as he could. At one point, his commander was
looking for a pilot to take a visiting General on an aerial tour of
a series of ADA emplacements - and Walden volunteered in order to
get the extra stick time. His CO replied: "No,
Buzz - I'm sure you don't know how to fly high enough for
the General to get a good view." From that point on,
he was "Buzz" to his squadron mates. Since many of the AAF
pilots were transferred to the RCS Navy at the same time, all
attempts to come up with a two-syllable TacNet handle were pretty
much doomed from the start.
